A google slide presentation by the SELPA team outlining the transformational practices engaged in to build a sustainable ADR continuum countywide at the local school district level. The transformation has shifted from utilizing an independent advocate to countywide capacity building and skill implementation. Capacity building has included; partnership, networking, branding, expansion of supports, professional learning for stakeholders, community of practices, coaching, parent training series, and more! The presentation will have embedded video clips of practitioners, parents, and community members in SLO SELPA who have participated in the ADR work.
Lindsay, the newest member of the SLO SELPA team, started as a Program Specialist in August 2022. She brings experience as an elementary educator as well as alternate dispute resolution skills.
